About Dan

Welcome to Onlyfarmtoys! My name is Dan and I made this website to help you find the right tractor toy for your child, children, grandchildren or yourself!

My father owned a small dairy farm in beautiful northern Michigan. I have many memories of helping on the farm and many of them revolve around tractors! I also remember playing with my toy tractors and I was always doing the same thing my father was. If he was discing, I was discing. If he was baling, I was baling.

Sadly in 1992 my father passed away after a battle with cancer. A few years later my mother sold the farm and we moved to be closer to her family. One thing I made sure to have was my tractors.

Those toy tractors reminded me of my father, because most of them were replicas of the tools he used. They were my most prized possession. In fact, I still have all of those same toys today. Now both of my kids play with them, and I love that they are getting used all these years later.

I have bought my kids toy tractors online before and know how hard it can be to find the right one. Finding tractor toys and models online can be tiring, so the reason I made this site is to help you find the

One of my most used tractors!

toys you want, without the pain of going from site to site.

If there is any farm toy you want to see on this site that is not currently here, please let me know in the comments.

Thank you for letting me serve you,

This was a wonderful insight on how much different toy tractors can be compared to each other. I personally love the old metal ones. I gave one to my dad when I was a lot younger that I found at an antique shop. Then when I had my son my dad went out and found one for my son to have and he loved playing with it when he was a younger but now he is a teenager so it is put up now.

The old metal tractors have a special place in my life. So many great memories are with those old toys. I love seeing my sons playing with them.

  2. I didn’t think these toys were still around. I remember them as a kid. It’s good to see some old school toys stood the test of time.

  3. I wish I had come across this site many years ago when my now 38 year old son was a kid. He used to love to play with his toy tractors and the like. So much so that he now owns a successful landscaping company. But have a one year old grandson that will be ready in a couple years, I hate to admit it but I like playing with them as much if not more than the kids.

    Awesome site.

I know, when my son asks me to play tractors with him, I of course grab a tractor and play with him! My knees do hurt by the time I am done! If you want some baby farm toys, check out Amazon. They have a large selection!
Thanks for reading tand the comment!

Well done for creating such an interesting site in a very specific niche. I enjoyed browsing the site as it revived my memories of playing with Dinkey and Matchbox toy cars in my youth!
